We have tested the Communism, Socialism, Marxism & Capitalism yet the growing numbers of poor people continue to rise. We will introduce to you the ENTREPRENEURIALISM
What has not been changed insofar as economic landscape in this country is our image as the biggest exporter of working force. Statistical data shows that we are number two (2) in terms of overseas workers around the world, next to Mexico. The same are remitting more or less 16 to 18 Billion dollars a year or close to one (1) trillion pesos annually. Due to their vital contribution to our economy, they have been flattered as Modern Heroes by our government. However, large fraction of this huge amount did not go to public services as a return of their investment, as it went to the pockets of our Machiavellian officials. It is estimated that almost 200 Billion pesos will goes to corruption each year.

It is likewise sad to note that the large corporations which constitute less than 1% of the total businesses registered and which provide only 30% of the total labor force in the country have captured almost majority of the remittance of the OFWs through their very lucrative shopping malls, and nice restaurants. They are enticing the OFWs to spend their hard-earned money instead of investing the same for business and education. What is more painful to note is that, these Big Corporate businessmen are investing their accumulated profit to other countries instead of developing our economy to uplift the condition of the Filipino people, especially, those living in the countryside. They want to maintain the status quo to block small market players to grow for they will be their potential competitors in the future.

Paradoxical as we say, that while everyday we hear from media, news items, telling people that this country is hopeless; yet, most of our Tycoon, Taipan, and Mega rich corporate players are staying in the country, because they live like Kings and Queens. While our fellow “probinsyanos” are their Housemaids, Caregivers, Helpers, Yayas, etc.

It is high time for Filipinos to open their hearts and minds. Opportunities are just lurking somewhere within our reach and within this country. GO NEGOSYO for economic empowerment. Without this, we, Filipinos can’t attain Political Freedom. Filipinos cannot be extricated from the bondage of vote buying and political patronage. REMEMBER THE GOLDEN RULE "He who owns the gold, owns the rule”.
